My visual inspiration focused on creating a trustworthy, clean, modern, and minimal financial app. I drew from interfaces that use calm colours, simple typography, and clear spacing to make the experience feel reliable and easy to use. The goal was a sleek, uncluttered look that makes budgeting feel approachable.

Willow’s wishlist turns goals into reality. Add any item you want, and Willow will build a budget plan that shows where it fits and exactly how many days until you can afford it. Plus, Willow tracks price drops—so you can snag your wishlist items at the best moment.

Lessons Learned
Working on Willow taught me a lot about collaboration, communication, and stepping up when needed. In a team of four, I learned how to take initiative, keep the project moving, and help guide decisions while still respecting everyone’s ideas and creative direction. This experience showed me the importance of staying flexible, organized, and supportive, especially when team members work at different paces or bring different levels of contribution.
Beyond teamwork, Willow strengthened my understanding of AI-driven design. I gained hands-on experience thinking through AI user flows, conversational systems, and how to build intuitive interfaces around smart financial guidance. This project helped me grow not just as a designer, but as someone who can create meaningful, future-focused products powered by AI.
Next Steps
Next, I plan to make small refinements to Willow’s interface to enhance clarity and consistency across screens. I’ll also focus on adding more dynamic visualizations to make financial data easier to understand at a glance. Finally, I aim to conduct usability testing to observe how real users navigate the app, using their feedback to refine the flow, improve accessibility, and ensure the experience feels as seamless and intuitive as possible.
